The course is designed to provide students with the necessary tools for developing the ability in taking sound economic decisions within a business organization, with particular reference to the impact of the external environment on this process.

The course addresses, among other topics, demand and supply analysis and estimation, analysis of the competitive environment, pricing practices, cost, revenue and yield management. Upon completion of the course students are expected to build competences to identify economic problems faced by the business enterprises, to articulate the appropriate questions that need to be addressed, to outline feasible alternative solutions, and to develop their own understanding of the real world of managerial economics.
