Qualification Requirements

To successfully complete the Master's Programme the student must complete a total of 90 ECTS. The required courses amount to 48 ECTS, while 12 ECTS are allocated to elective courses and the remaining 30 ECTS are allocated to the Master's Dissertation.

Following the structure of Programmes offered in prestigious institutions, the Programme will be operating during the evening hours (6-9 pm) in order to accommodate working students. Each module is block-delivered within a two week period, providing a total of 36 contact hours over twelve days, plus a midterm exam and a final examination. Three required and one elective modules are offered during the first and second semesters. The third semester is taken up with work for the Thesis.Students are eligible for the MA, if they hold an undergraduate business-oriented Degree. Students are eligible for the LLM, if they hold an LLB Degree, or a relevant Bachelor Degree combined with an extensive professional legal experience.

The MA / LLM also offers you the opportunity, if desired, to select one (1) of the following three main Concentrations that best serve your career development, namely:

  • 'COMMERCIAL SHIPPING AND TRADE PRACTICES' Concentration, or
  • 'FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT' Concentration, or
  • 'OIL AND GAS MANAGEMENT' Concentration.

Students achieve Concentration by successfully completing the two Elective Modules (that comprise the Concentration), and by also completing their final Master's Dissertation on a relevant topic. In particular:
